Auto homeowners insurance

Why anyone would ever insure their home or auto with this company is beyond me. We suffered a loss at our home nearly 8 months ago and it has been a constant battle with Auto-Owners to fairly repair the damages in our home. Their initial adjuster was some off the street extra who had no idea what he was doing and missed broken windows that he was standing in front of. You would think that with major tree damage the adjuster would look at the attic and roof, however, this adjuster did neither. We had to hire our own public adjuster to make corrections and work with us to get things repaired correctly. When informed that there was asbestos found in our home, Auto-Owners took THREE months to acknowledge this and then decided to send out their own company to test and inspect. Auto-Owner has purposely delayed decisions regarding repairs to our home then threatened to stop our additional living expenses if we did not begin work…work that they still have not approved. This purposeful delaying of the repairs on our home is unacceptable. As well as threatening us, the homeowners, and insured is horrible business practice. We do NOT trust them as a company or the agents that we have had to deal with. I would NEVER recommend this company to any of our family or friends and would hope that others are fully aware of the unprofessional and heartless customer service this company provides.

A guys tire came off of the trailer he was pulling and came through the windshield of the passenger side of the vehicle I was a passenger in. I was taken to the hospital for the glass that got in my eye. I was given an MRI and they put some kind of dye in my eye. Once the Doctor discovered the cut on my eye ball he immediately transferred me to another doctor at 1am or later in the morning. In short I went back and forth for weeks for treatments for my eye and headaches. They AUTO OWNERS INSURANCE played for the repairs in on the vehicle I was a passenger in they even sent several supplement checks. But,when it came time to answer for my injuries I was told by their claims agent **** in the Conyers,ga. Office that they were not excepting blame for my injuries because they didn’t have the tire anymore to determine whether it was their insured drivers fault. I asked him SEVERAL times was he telling me F my eye and my vision that hasn’t been the same since that day,and he got quiet then stated, We don’t have the tire so we are not excepting blame if you can find any evidence to help your case we will look at it again but if not we are not excepting blame. How are gods earth can you people at AUTO OWNERS INSURANCE say you are not excepting blame for the tire coming through the windshield and causing my injuries? You payed for the vehicle over $6000 in damages but say your are not excepting responsibility for my injuries. I’m going to fight You guys tooth and nail because right is right and god knows you are a VERY evil company that needs to be brought to the public’s eye.
