Paintless Dent Repair (often referred to as PDR) became very popular in the mid to late 80s as an alternative to conventional auto painting, bondo, and other fillers to repair dents and dings. It has several advantages: It saves time; it saves money, no vehicle depreciation because you have not repainted the vehicle, and also it is environmentally friendly. We do not use any chemicals that could damage the environment. Insurance companies recognize and recommend PDR as an excellent method to remove minor dents and dings as well as hail damage.
How does Paintless Dent Repair work?
We gain access to the back of the dent and gently massage the dent out using special tools designed specifically for this type of work. It is a gentle and precise process. Basically, we put the dented metal back in its original place without disturbing the paint. View our videos above for a live demonstration.
What kind of dents can be repaired using PDR?
Dings and dents caused by: other car doors, shopping carts, golf balls, hail stones, and many other kinds of minor dents as long as the paint is not damaged. If you are not sure if PDR is the right option for repairing your car, please email a picture to us. In some cases we can determine from a picture if the damage can be repaired using PDR and the estimated cost.
How long does PDR take?
Normally door dings can be repaired while you wait (15 to 20 minutes). If we are doing more extensive work, like a complete cleanup of several door dings on both sides of the vehicle it may take as little as a couple of hours or less. Auto hail damage repairs take longer due to the quantity of dents to repair. Most auto hail repairs jobs can be completed with a day or two plus time for insurance administration. This is also dependent on our existing work load. Call today to schedule an appointment for us to look over your car.
Dent Squad was GREAT!!! I had a good amount of hail damage from a recent storm. I called Dent Squad based on a recommendation from co-workers. I dropped my car off the next day. They went over the process and assured me everything would be great when they were done. I was really amazed at the job they'd done. Could not believe how good the car looked. They even dropped me at Enterprise to pick up my rental and also picked me up when I returned the rental. Best experience I've had with any repair shop in a long time. I will recommend Dent Squad to anyone I know in need of dent repair.
Just got my F-150 back from the Dent Squad. It had a lot of hail damage and now it looks like new. I have been so pleased with them from the start. They actually came and picked up my vehicle and were even going to drop it off for me on a Sunday, since I wasn't sure I was going to be able to pick it up on time on Saturday. Great job and fantastic customer service.

PDR also known as "paintless dent removal", is a collection of techniques for removing minor dents and dings from the body of a car or truck. A wide range of damage can be repaired using PDR; however, usually if there is paint damage, PDR may be unsuitable.
The most common practical use for PDR is the repair of hail damage, door dings, minor body creases, and minor bumper indentations. The techniques can also be applied to help prepare the damaged panel for paint. Such applications are referred to as "push to paint".
Paintless dent removal takes time to learn; it is more of an art than a specific set of skills. The ability to successfully remove dents and dings is learned through trial and error. An untrained individual can actually damage a dent if attempting a repair without the correct skills and knowledge.
